Yesterday, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert launched a new web series called “Lunch with Stephen,” and despite a vague story about the time he found a bag of cash in the subway but never told the cops, it seemed like Colbert just wanted a new way to hang out with fans before the premiere of his show. In the latest installment of the series, however, it turns out that bag of cash was only the beginning of Stephen’s ongoing legal troubles, and if you want to keep spending lunchtime with him, well, you’ll have to do so on the hook for his mysterious crimes.
