Banksy Has Created Dismaland, Your Next Destination for Getting Stoned

Banksy's next project is taking over Tropicana, an abandoned outdoor swimming pool in Weston-Super-Mare, a seaside town in North Somerset, England. The mysterious artist transformed the space into an exhibition styled as an amusement park called Dismaland. “I loved the Tropicana as a kid, so getting to throw these doors open again is a real honour," Banksy said through the town council. The exhibition's website keeps it cheekier. "Are you looking for an alternative to the sugar-coated tedium of the average family day out? Or just somewhere a lot cheaper?" The exhibition, which runs from August 22 to September 27, brings together local and international artists, including Damien Hirst, and features musical acts like Pussy Riot and Massive Attack.
