Empire had a good night tonight at the Teen Choice Awards: The hip-hop series won Best Breakout TV Show (full winners’ list available here), and co-stars Jussie Smollett and Yazz the Greatest reminded everybody in the best way they knew how that season two is on its way and that it’s going to be awesome. On top of that: While the duo performed “You’re So Beautiful,” Gabourey Sidibe made a surprise appearance that would’ve put old Willow Smith to shame. Get excited. (It’s probably acceptable to be overly excited because Ludacris is so excited, like kid-at-an-amusement-park excited, for this show’s September 23 return, too.)
