How Bruce Springsteen Played Jon Stewart Off The Daily Show

From one Jersey boy who'll probably never retire to another bidding late-night TV adieu, only one person could give Jon Stewart his proper Daily Show send-off. Stewart's farewell ended Thursday night with — who else — Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band taking the stage to perform a one-two punch of "Land of Hope and Dreams" (Stewart's personal request) and the New Jersey state anthem, "Born to Run." The only way the Boss and Stewart could've flexed their Jersey pride harder would've been to move the whole thing to the Stone Pony. (Don't think Stewart didn't consider it.)
