Things might get emotional after Jon Stewart leaves The Daily Show tomorrow night, but one thing we don’t have to worry about is the possibility of Stewart’s Daily Show set getting the cruel dumpster treatment that David Letterman’s Late Show set received earlier this year. According to The Washington Post, the set’s next home will be the Newseum in Washington DC. “We are thrilled to accept the donation of these artifacts to the Newseum collection,” said the Newseum’s Cathy Trost on the news. “They are part of America’s cultural and media history, telling an important story about how political satire and news as humor made The Daily Show a trusted news source for a generation.”
