HBO has heard the people’s cries: Where is that Amy Schumer one-hour stand-up special? Schumer is capping off a very busy year with a performance at the most historic of venues, the Apollo Theater. And because she’s very good at making friends with other celebrities, the special is directed by none other than Chris Rock, which means it will be very funny, but also vulnerable and sensitive to the rich tapestry of the human condition.
