In a very strategic career move, Canadian pop-star Carly Rae Jepsen is joining the cast of Fox's Grease: Live as Frenchy, the part originally played by Didi Conn. The live production has already locked down its major parts, including Aaron Tveit as Danny, Julianne Hough as Sandy, Vanessa Hudgens as Rizzo, Carlos PenaVega as Kenickie, and Keke Palmer as Marty. Rounding out the rest of the cast is Kether Donohue, who plays the messy divorcée Lindsay in You're the Worst, as Jan, and David Del Rio as T-bird Putzie. Fox has also announced that Jessie J — the pop star who can sing with her mouth closed — will kick off the event with a new rendition of "Grease (Is the Word)." You're the ones that we want! Now go practice those dance moves; Grease: Live will air January 31.
