Benched co-creator Damon Jones and Bridesmaids co-writer Annie Mumolo are teaming up for a new ABC comedy. Deadline reports that the network has bought a half-hour comedy from the duo called Wheeler Dealer inspired by the life of Jones’s sister, which centers on “a suburban housewife and mother who inherits her deceased husband’s struggling car dealership in rural West Texas — Friday Night Lights country. In an attempt to make a fresh start, she moves her family out of their plush gated community to run the business, something she knows nothing about.” Jones will write, and Mumolo will co-executive produce.
