Hardcore, a movie shot in first person to emulate the sensation of playing an Über-violent video game, looks like it could be one of the most violent action movies ever. The best-left-forgotten Dwayne Johnson movie Doom did something similar for five minutes, though Hardcore expands the experiment to feature-length. The entire movie is a mechanically enhanced guy killing people before he runs out of time and dies, like a less restrained Crank.
