Over a year after sharing the pilot online, Amazon announced the premiere date today for its new dramedy series Red Oaks along with the debut trailer. Created by Gregory Jacobs and Joe Gangemi, the series centers on an NYU student in 1985 named David Meyers (Craig Roberts), who is hired as an assistant tennis pro at a country club and “finds himself the recipient of unsolicited life advice from a colorful group of coworkers and wealthy club members.” Paul Reiser, Alexandra Socha, Ennis Esmer, Jennifer Grey, Richard Kind, Oliver Cooper, Gage Golightly, and Josh Meyers costar. All 10 episodes of Red Oaks debut on Amazon on Friday, October 9th.
