‘Kenan & Kel,’ ‘Ren & Stimpy,’ ‘Salute Your Shorts,’ and More Return to Nickelodeon Next Month

If you’re looking for the reason why Jimmy Fallon orchestrated a Kenan & Kel reunion on last night’s Tonight Show, here it is: Entertainment Weekly reports that Nickelodeon will bring back old episodes of a bunch of its ‘90s hits starting Monday, October 5th on TeenNick:

Presently, the series slate consists of All That, Angry Beavers, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, CatDog, Clarissa Explains It All, Hey Arnold!, Hey Dude, Kenan & Kel, Ren & Stimpy, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Rocko’s Modern Life, Rugrats, Salute Your Shorts, and The Wild Thornberrys. (More tidbits for your DVR: Oct. 12 is Reptar week on Rugrats, and Oct. 19 will focus on Stoop Kid-centric episodes of Hey Arnold!)

The ‘90s TV block will be part of “The Splat,” which EW describes as “a new ‘destination’ that’s something between a TV network, a web site, and a heavy social media presence.” In addition, Nickelodeon will bring back old-school programming like U-Pick and Nick or Treat in time for Halloween, just in case you forgot the ‘90s and needed a reminder.
