A TV Adaptation of ‘All of Me’ Is in the Works at NBC

Welcome the latest film to get a TV adaptation in development on a major network: Carl Reiner’s All of Me. According to Deadline, NBC is currently developing a half-hour series based on the 1984 comedy starring Steve Martin and Lily Tomlin, which follows an attorney (Martin) tasked with reworking the will of a millionairess (Tomlin) who wants to transfer her soul to a younger woman, only for the lawyer and millionairess to get accidentally trapped in the lawyer’s body. NBC’s adaptation would take on an anthology format “with the series protagonist jumping into a different person’s body every week in a bid to help solve the problems that are holding them back.” Betsy Thomas (My Boys, Whitney, Guys with Kids) will write and co-executive produce the project, and there’s a possibility that Steve Martin will serve as a producer.
