This is very good news: Bob’s Burgers has been renewed — and not just for another season. Fox has ordered two more seasons of the critically lauded animated comedy. The move means the show will make it to its eighth season and stay on the air through at least 2018. While the series has never done the same sort of ratings as Family Guy or The Simpsons in its prime, Bob’s performs well with younger viewers, especially the under-35 men Fox targets on Sundays. Even more important, the series is co-produced by Fox sibling 20th Century Fox Television, which makes a sizable profit on the show by syndicating reruns to Adult Swim (where Bob’s does very well).
