Chris Hardwick just added another show to his already busy schedule. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hardwick and LeBron James are co-executive producing a new game show for NBC called The Wall, and Hardwick is also attached to host. THR describes the show as similar to The Price Is Right game Plinko, where “the competition will feature a combination of trivia and a ball falling down a ruthless wall of pegs” – each episode will follow two-person teams competing through trivia questions for “life-changing amounts of cash” and a Plinko-like board with different cash prizes.
“I love game shows, and partnering with LeBron James and NBC to potentially give away millions of dollars to people who deserve it is an incredible opportunity,” said Hardwick on the news. “I’m sorry, NBC, I’m hoping to give away a lot of your money.” NBC has yet to announce The Wall’s premiere date.
