Forbes released their annual list of the highest paid comedians today, and Jerry Seinfeld – who got some extra cash this year thanks to the big Seinfeld deal at Hulu – topped the list, which is a somewhat interesting mix of TV stars, touring standups, and Vegas performers and very uninteresting mix gender-wise; there’s not a single woman on the list.
To calculate the top ten highest paid comedians of 2015, Forbes tallied up earnings minus management fees and taxes between June 2014 through June 2015, and only comedians whose primary income came from concert ticket sales were eligible. Here’s the rundown:
Jerry Seinfeld ($36 million) Kevin Hart ($28.5 million) Terry Fator ($21.5 million) Jeff Dunham ($19 million) Russell Peters ($19 million) Aziz Ansari ($9.5 million) Louis C.K. ($9 million) Gabriel Iglesias ($8.5 million) John Bishop ($8 million) Dave Chappelle ($7.5 million)
