According to THR, real-life moms Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Christina Applegate have all signed on to appear in an untitled comedy about moms from the writers of The Hangover. The film is reportedly the story of three harried moms “on a quest to liberate themselves from conventional responsibilities, which includes going on a wild un-mom-like binge of freedom, fun and self-indulgence.” If you think that sounds like a Judd Apatow project, you’d be right: Apatow was originally signed on a producer, with Leslie Mann as star, but the couple dropped out due to scheduling conflicts. Keeping with current comedy trends, that version was called Bad Moms — if you can think up a better new title than The Mom-edy, get yourself to Paramount, pronto.
