Back in March, NBC revealed that they were planning to launch a comedy subscription video service sometime this year, and today it’s been unveiled. Called SeeSo, the subscription costs $3.99 per month and includes new, classic, and original SeeSo shows like SNL, Monty Python’s Flying Circus, The Kids in the Hall, The Office, 30 Rock, The Tonight Show, and new series from Amy Poehler (The UCB Show), Dan Harmon, and Wyatt Cenac. SeeSo’s public launch is set for January 2016, and you can sign up to be notified when it’s available over at the SeeSo website. In addition to TV shows and 3-5 movies per month, SeeSo will also include daily standup specials, and according to NBCU exec Evan Shapiro they’d also like to stream live comedy specials in the near future.
