Two More Dragon Tattoo Books Are Coming

'Spider's Web.'

The Girl in the Spider's Web will get trapped in at least two more things, as David Lagercrantz has revealed he has that many more sequels planned. (Lisbeth will persevere — don't worry.) The author, who contentiously picked up from where the late Stieg Larsson left off, said in a statement through the publisher Nordstedts that he "just can't resist ... It's been so much fun to write and such a breathtaking adventure." Spider's Web has sold roughly 80 million copies worldwide since its August release, according to the AP. The next book, the fifth, is slated to come out sometime in 2017, with the sixth following in 2019. (Great news, Hollywood — that means there's another handful of things for you to make and remake a few more times.)
