Rumors recently flew that Adele did the unthinkable and dissed Beyoncé by turning down a collaboration. But fear not, BeyHive: Adele assures us that’s all a vicious lie. “I would never disrespect her like that. I’m such a fan, oh my god,” she tells Zane Lowe in an hour-long interview set to air on Wednesday, setting the record straight about all the times she’s had to say no. When first asked which modern artists she listens to (Adele isn’t that old-timey, guys!), she was quick to note: “Obviously, Queen Bey to the day I die.” (She’s also a fan of Lana Del Rey, Alabama Shakes, Florence and the Machine, and Chvrches.)
