Office Alumna Angela Kinsey Has Her Own Comedy, Called 1-800, in the Works at TBS

Call the Party Planning Committee, because it’s time to celebrate: Deadline reports that Office alumna Angela Kinsey has sold a comedy of her own to TBS. Titled 1-800, the semi-autobiographical series, which Kinsey will write and potentially co-star in, is based on her time working at a call center. “I temped, I worked in the mail room, I worked at the front desk, I worked in human resources,” she told the Journal Star in 2010, referencing a number of her earliest jobs. “I used to sit in this call center and we would have thermostat wars with the guys in the IT department. I remember cleaning out the fridge in the kitchen. And sitting through ridiculous meetings thinking, ‘Why am I here?’” (So she could write about it now, obviously!)
