After getting your hopes up with hints of a Hocus Pocus sequel on Reddit and Twitter, social-media maven Bette Midler has taken to Facebook to kill the rumors she once fanned. When asked whether there would be a sequel to her 1993 cult Halloween film during her Facebook Q&A , Midler replied that “after all these ears and all the fan demand, I do believe I can stand and firmly say an unequivocal no.” After crushing the hearts of millions of millennials, Midler went on to share the last thing that made her laugh: James Wright’s ode to Patti LaBelle’s sweet potato pie.” And her thoughts on Justin Bieber: “I think he’s terrific. He thinks I’m someone called Brett Meddler.”
