... Bindi Irwin! It turns out the teen conservationist and daughter of late TV personality Steve Irwin touched a lot of people with her dancing this season (and rightfully so). The 17-year-old fan favorite took home the Mirror Ball Trophy at the end of Tuesday night's two-hour finale, after she eked out a victory over other celeb finalists Nick Carter and Alek Skarlatos. "Thank you so much for everything," she told co-host Tom Bergeron. "I can't believe that I'm here, and just thank you for changing my life."
Irwin and her partner Derek Hough reportedly performed a cha-cha/Argentine tango fusion routine for their turn in season 21's last installment; they nabbed a perfect score, which resulted in Hough's sixth win and a raucous celebration. Carter liked their dance a lot, too, saying it kicked butt:
