TV Line reports Happy Endings alum Eliza Coupe, most recently of The Mindy Project and Casual, is headed to Quantico for a story arc in 2016 … before immediately going back to sitcoms. Right? She’s gotta. Just because we didn’t give Happy Endings or Benched the love they deserved doesn’t mean we have to lose one of our best comedic actresses to network dramas. Oh, lord, the character summary describes her as “a hardcore career agent with countless notches in her belt.” That is the most jokeless-sounding role there is! Okay, calm down. She’ll probably get to deliver some witty bon mots at least. Maybe some jokes about … uh, guns maybe? Betrayal? Sh … shooting?
