Lou Diamond Phillips Does a Sexily Accurate Antonio Banderas Impression

Everybody’s Antonio Banderas is always sexy Antonio Banderas. It’s always him suggesting people come closer and/or take off their clothes. That was Lou Diamond Phillips’s approach, as he showed on Conan last night. But we think people should be doing Banderas as Puss in Boots, because not only does P.I.B. have a funny name, he also says Shrek frequently. No other Banderas impression says Shrek nearly as often. Not Banderas in Ruby Sparks, not Banderas in Original Sin, and especially not Banderas in Frida. At no point does Banderas say “Señorita Kahlo, that is a nice painting, but may I suggest adding Shrek.”
