World Premiere Trailer for Preacher: Violence Is Bad, Mmkay?

By

The first trailer for AMC’s Preacher aired Sunday night during The Walking Dead: In it, the Burp King from Wet Hot American Summer reveals he isn't a huge fan of his dad and enlists the Rev. Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper) to do something violent about it. After giving a fairly Mr. Mackey-esque warning, the titular Preacher proves he's still willing to spread the Gospel according to Fisticuffs.

Seth Rogen, who co-adapted the show from Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s comic series and is co-executive-producing, is rightfully pretty pumped about the trailer and already inquiring about Easter eggs. A ten-episode run of Preacher premieres mid-2016, with Cooper alongside co-stars Ruth Negga and Joe Gilgun. Thanks be to AMC.
