Robert De Niro Doesn’t ‘Give a F*ck’ Who Any of Us Are, But Especially Not the Founder of Slack

When you're Robert De Niro, it's hard to find many fucks to give. But on Wednesday night, he did give enough of a fuck to present Angelina Jolie with an award at The Wall Street Journal's 2015 Innovator Awards. It was a swanky event, held at the MoMA, something Stewart Butterfield, co-founder of the chat app Slack, pointed out in his acceptance speech: "We are a long way from San Francisco," he said, scanning the room full of "supermodels and movie stars" and De Niro. "I watched Godfather II on the plane ... when you killed Don Fanucci, I liked that," Butterfield badly joked. The WSJ also did not give much of a fuck, having De Niro take the stage after Butterfield's "nerd award." De Niro eventually got around to singing Jolie's praises, but as "Page Six" reports, he first gave enough of a fuck to tell Butterfield he didn't give a fuck: "Whoever the last speaker was ... I thought you were a bit condescending to us actors ... celebrities. I’m gonna go on record with you just to say that. And I don’t give a fuck who you are."
