CBS announced earlier today that season 28 of their hit reality game show The Amazing Race will be comprised solely of well-known social-media personalities and influencers, hailing from platforms such as YouTube, Vine, and Instagram. Headlining the eleven teams are YouTube superstars Tyler Oakley and Korey Kuhl. Additionally, for the first time in the show's history, host Phil Keoghan will be live-streaming the opening leg of the show during the November 15 premiere. The complete list of teams are as follows (accompanied by their combined subscriber/follower count, as helpfully calculated by Mashable): Tyler Oakley and Korey Kuhl (7.8 million on YouTube), Burnie Burns and Ashley Jenkins (8.2 million on YouTube), Erin White Robinson and Joslyn Davis (2 million on Clevver), Sheri and Cole LaBrant (6.5 million on Vine), Zach and Rachel King (3.7 million on Vine), Dana Borriello and Matt Steffanina (2.5 million on YouTube), Jessica Versteeg and Brittany Oldehoff (68,176 on Instagram), Marty Cobb and Hagan Parkman (7,265 on YouTube), Scott and Blair Fowler (1.7 million on YouTube), Kurt Gibson and Brodie Smith (1 million on YouTube), Cameron and Darius Benson (3.6 million on Vine).
