“Phil Collins must be stopped,” reads a petition to the United Nations, asking the government to deter Phil Collins from having a comeback after four years of retirement. It goes on, “Phil Collins has announced he is ‘no longer in retirement.’ There is far too much suffering in the world as it is. This must be stopped.” As of Sunday afternoon, the petition only needs 860 more signatures to reach its 5,000-signature goal, though it remains to be seen whether the UN will actually step in and stop Collins from recording a new album. The petition was created by someone named Brian Pee, who really, really dislikes Phil Collins and clearly does not want another day for you and me, or Mike Tyson, in paradise. A second petition celebrating Collins’s comeback has around 1,500 signatures so far.
