He also looked back on the time he staged his own suicide for an old UCB show as well as the time he prank called the Philadelphia Phillies when he was a high college student and attempted to make a trade with the team’s manager. “I always say the lowest paying job in America is improviser, right underneath poet and person who makes no attempt to have a job,” McKay said. Thankfully, his improv and prank call skills led to a career that’s at least a couple steps further up the ladder.
