Here’s a clip from David Spade’s visit to last night’s Conan, where he and O’Brien look back on their SNL days working alongside Chris Farley and the origins of his “fat guy in a little coat” gag from Tommy Boy, which started in the writers’ offices at SNL: “I’d go, ‘If this is fat guy in little coat, it’s not funny anymore, I don’t like it,’ and he goes ‘No, it’s not – I’m working on new stuff.’ And I’d turn around and he had my little Levi jacket on, and he goes ‘Fat guy in a little coat!
