‘Jay Leno’s Garage’ Gets a Season 2 Renewal at CNBC

The rich tradition of shows involving rich comedians and fancy cars continues, because today Variety reports that CNBC has officially renewed Jay Leno’s show Jay Leno’s Garage for a second season, which will consist of 12 hourlong episodes. CNBC says that the debut season of Leno’s show is the most-watched in the network’s history, and that it’s all because “Jay Leno’s passion for cars and unique storytelling resonates with viewers and we are excited to hit the road again this spring.” Said Leno on the news: “We are really excited to be picked up for another season. We have a lot of great things planned. It will be a wild ride.” If we’re lucky it will involve Leno hitting the road as an Uber driver again.
