Noted Star Trek fanboy and astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson has already declared the Enterprise vastly superior to the Millennium Falcon, but what did he think of The Force Awakens? Ask, and you shall receive: Tyson is in the middle of a tweetstorm of observations about the film (as he promised over the weekend), which has predictably turned into a bit of fact-checking with just some “mild spoilers” to be aware of. For instance, all that Wookiee-speak? Still scientifically impossible to decipher — for Tyson, anyway. But most important, we finally have scientific validation from an actual scientist who specializes in outer-space things that BB-8 is, indeed, the cutest thing in the whole freakin’ universe — even if it wouldn’t technically be able to adorably roll around in the sand like that. Meh. Science, schmience!
