Not long after teasing us with photos of Alexander Skarsgård and Margot Robbie, Warner Bros. has released the official Legend of Tarzan trailer. It begins with Tarzan's origin story of how a hot Swedish man was raised by gorillas, which had the transformative effect of making him hotter than if he had just been raised by regular people. The David Yates movie also stars Christoph Waltz with an evil mustache, as well as Samuel L. Jackson, Djimon Hounsou, John Hurt, and Jim Broadbent. However, this is a story of Tarzan going back to the Congo as a trade emissary for the British Parliament, or as Skarsgård explained to USA Today: "This is about a man who's holding back, and slowly as you peel off the layers, he reverts back to a more animalistic state and lets that side of his personality out." Yes, there's definitely a lot of peeling to be done. The first teaser trailer is below:
