It probably doesn’t count as an uncanny resemblance if you are genetically related to the person you resemble, but dang. Entertainment Tonight shared a clip of Melissa Rivers as the late, great Joan Rivers in Joy, and while her appearance is brief, it is thankfully fashion-oriented. Melissa does her QVC-era mom proud, but David O. Russell really missed an opportunity to have Melissa and Bradley Cooper just absolutely savage Jennifer Lawrence’s outfit. Tear that blouse and pants combo apart. Not to mention that hair and the lipstick. Oh, there is a lot there that Joan could have worked with. RIP.
