During his visit to Stephen Colbert in December, Adam McKay told a great story about prank calling the Philadelphia Phillies’ team manager, and during his interview with Seth Meyers last night, he revealed that it’s not the only team manager prank call he’s made – back when he worked as SNL’s head writer, he once tried to prank call Lorne Michaels out of late night frustration and pretended to be Yankees manager Joe Torre, but unfortunately it didn’t work out so great: “There was a long pause…and Lorne said ‘Is this Adam?’” Check out another clip from the interview below:
