Get ready for some classic comedy reunions on NBC next month. TV Line reports that the network will air a two-hour special next month paying tribute to longtime sitcom director James Burrows to celebrate his 1,000th TV episode. The special will include cast reunions from some of Burrows’s series including Taxi, Cheers, Frasier, Will & Grace, and more recent shows like The Big Bang Theory and Mike & Molly. While the participating cast members from each show haven’t all been confirmed yet, NBC exec Bob Greenblatt announced that all six Friends stars are attached to participate. “I shouldn’t go into detail,” he said. “I’m hoping that all six of them will be there in the same room at the same time. I don’t know, logistically, if we can pull that off.” The special tapes later this month in Los Angeles, and it’s set to air on NBC Sunday, February 21st at 9:00pm.
