Rest easy, Broad City fans, because the show isn’t leaving us anytime soon. Comedy Central announced today that it’s given Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer’s show a double-season renewal for seasons 4 and 5 ahead of its season 3 debut on Wednesday, February 17th. In addition to the renewal, the network ordered a three-episode series from Glazer, Paul W. Downs, and Lucia Aniello called Time Traveling Bong, which will debut after the season 3 Broad City finale on – you guessed it – 4/20. The series will star Glazer and Downs as two cousins who “discover a time traveling bong and ride high as they blaze through time. Their buzz is killed when the bong breaks and the cousins are forced to bounce around the space time continuum, learning to appreciate there’s no time like the present.” The series will air over the course of three nights from April 20th through the 23rd.
In addition to the Broad City news, Comedy Central also renewed Inside Amy Schumer for a fifth season; Schumer revealed last year that a fourth season is already in the works.
