The mid-season premiere of Grey’s Anatomy will actually continue to make the show’s newer plot lines look more like Game of Thrones than usual: “You can’t escape the silence,” teases the above trailer, as a patient violently attacks Meredith, sends her into TV-advertising purgatory, and makes everybody else lose their marbles. One silver lining, as Variety points out, is that the episode marks Denzel Washington’s small-screen directorial debut — complete with tons of delicious emotional manipulation! Anyway, the silence is coming February 11, followed by new Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder, in what should be a record-breaking Valentine’s week (trauma-wise).
