The ACE Eddie Awards (the American Cinema Editors) went for big action films over quiet dramas with their list of the best of 2015. Their nominees for dramatic film included Mad Max: Fury Road, The Martian, The Revenant, Sicario, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, meaning this is a potential stumble for presumed Oscar front-runner Spotlight. On the television side, Amy Schumer's Inside Amy Schumer grabbed a nomination for her "12 Angry Men" episode, and the one-hour categories are filled with all your prestige-TV faves: Better Call Saul and Game of Thrones got two nominations each, and Fargo, Mad Men, The Knick, and others round out the list.
