James Franco and Bryan Cranston’s in-the-works romantic comedy Why Him? is rounding out its cast. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Keegan-Michael Key has signed on to costar in the film, which centers on “a down-to-earth Midwestern father (Cranston) who takes his family to visit his daughter — who is attending Stanford — at Christmas and subsequently gets into a competition with his daughter’s boyfriend, a young Internet billionaire (Franco).” Key will play the “butler and estate manager” to Franco’s character, and last week Megan Mullally joined the cast to play the wife of Cranton’s character. Zoey Deutch (Vampire Academy, Dirty Grandpa) will play the daughter.
