Larry Wilmore Talks Planned Parenthood and the Power of Bullshit on ‘The Nightly Show’

Here’s a clip from last night’s Nightly Show, where Larry Wilmore covers the Texas grand jury investigation of the undercover Planned Parenthood videos that surfaced over the summer, which ultimately led to Planned Parenthood being cleared of any illegal activity and the anti-abortion activists who made the videos now facing felony charges that could send them to jail. While the outcome of the investigation is great news, Wilmore warns that it won’t stop most people in America from believing in bullshit: “Here’s the thing about bullshit: People remember it a lot more than they remember the truth,” he says. “So the damage has been done, especially when people are predisposed to wanting to believe something.”
