If You Think You Might Like an Hour-Long Conversation About the Visual Effects in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, You’ll Like This (Because It’s That!)

An hour is a long time, but not in the grand scheme of things. So if you have an hour to spare and you’re interested in visual effects and Star Wars and mostly British men, these two interviews from DP/30 are probably for you! If you don’t like those things, maybe just take a nap! The first interview is with VFX supervisors Roger Guyett and (seemingly mute) Patrick Tubach. The second is with two on-set effects supervisors, Neal Scanlan and Chris Corbould. And we’ve got to hand it to whoever made those opening titles. Did the title-maker really have to upstage all of those VFX guys? Did whoever made Maz also create that sick font? Watch the interviews to find out!
