Stacey Dash Expounds on Her BET Comments

After first sounding off on the anger over this year's very-white slate of Oscar nominees (she's not mad about it) and criticizing the network that paid her bills (BET would like its check back, thank you very much) former actress and current Fox News pundit Stacey Dash has decided to double down on controversy. In a blog post titled "How BET Lies to Black People," Dash claimed that places BET continue to promote segregation:

Well, here’s the thing. Thank you for reminding me, since most people have never heard of that show. Why? It’s on BET. Quick. Name the top shows on BET. Drawing a blank? I think I’ve made my point. I’m thankful for all of the acting jobs I’ve had. But I look forward to the day when people don’t self-segregate based on skin color, while loudly complaining about a segregated society.

Dash then decided to hold BET, and not, you know, oppressive white power structures, responsible for racism. Also, she promoted her book:

BET lies to American black people by telling them that the rest of America is racist, so stick close to your own kind. Anything that promotes segregation is bad! And they’re absolutely mortified that someone like me — an independent-thinking black woman — dares call their bluff. Pre-Order my Upcoming Book!

One quick logic question: If Stacey Dash thinks no one watches any shows on BET and Stacey Dash appeared on shows on BET, why does Stacey Dash think anyone has heard of Stacey Dash?
