As part of a promotion for his new fragrance collection, designer Derek Lam hired a bunch of filmmakers to create a series of ten shorts all set in the vicinity of Crosby Street in Soho, where his store is located. Ahead of the films’ premiere at the Angelika Tuesday night, we’re pleased to present the premiere of one of those shorts, “2 a.m. Kiss,” which stars You’re the Worst’s Aya Cash as a woman on the verge of an emotional breakdown. It’s like Frank Sinatra always said: If you can hump mannequins here, you can hump mannequins anywhere.
