In the new trailer for her upcoming Netflix docuseries, Chelsea Handler proves that it’s hard to stay at a comedic distance from your subject when your subject is a potent hallucinogenic brew used by indigenous Peruvians to induce a life-altering spiritual journey. Chelsea will figure out a way, though. Probably make a joke about the bucket or something. “Chelsea Does … Drugs” is one of four episodes of Handler’s new docuseries Chelsea Does, premiering January 23. The show’s other episodes will explore marriage, Silicon Valley, and racism, topics that seem like they would benefit from an existential exploration of one’s place in our vast and beautiful universe, so here’s hoping they shot the drug one first.
