It’s like they say: Honesty is the best policy … up until a certain point, after which you are just describing a horrific murder to The New Yorker. The magazine published an in-depth profile of TMZ founder Harvey Levin, whose website, you might recall, leaked Alec Baldwin’s notorious voice-mail to daughter Ireland back in 2007. Alec Baldwin certainly remembers. “There was a time when my greatest wish was to stab Harvey Levin with a rusty implement and watch his entrails go running down my forearm, in some Macbethian stance. I wanted him to die in my arms, while looking into my eyes, and I wanted to say to him, ‘Oh, Harvey, you thoughtless little pig,’” the 30 Rock actor said, to another human being, ostensibly out loud. Added Baldwin, “He is a festering boil on the anus of American media.” Still … must be nice to be written about in The New Yorker.
