Chris Carter chatted with The Hollywood Reporter and confirmed that Fox is interested in ordering future episodes of the newly revived X-Files. “They’re going to ask for more. The ratings were very good,” the X-Files creator explained. “They were happy with the show. I talked to Dana Walden today. She said they’d very much like more, but nothing’s being negotiated yet.” According to Carter, both David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are seemingly game for another season, but between writing and creating a schedule that accommodates their work and personal lives, details might take a while to emerge. And that’s not to mention the aliens’ schedules! Those guys have so many goddamn tap-dance lessons to work around, it’s insane.
