The New Yorker’s David Remnick stopped by Late Night last night to help elucidate the sometimes esoteric comedic underpinnings of New Yorker cartoons, and Seth Meyers’s writers room put their heart, soul and off-putting latex duck masks into making them come alive. Which is great, because you were at a complete loss about all of those cartoons. A working human penis? What even is that? Haha, well, comedy is subjective. Not every joke is “for you,” as it were.
