Ahead of tomorrow’s Super Tuesday elections, last night’s Last Week Tonight took on Republican frontrunner Donald Trump and the three reasons why so many voters have chosen to support him: he “tells it like it is,” he’s personally funded his own campaign, and he’s tough. After addressing each point as well as how wildly inconsistent Trump has been on big issues, John Oliver revealed that Trump’s ancestors’ last name was actually Drumpf, so perhaps a rebranding of the Trump name to Drumpf will open more voters’ eyes to the truth and, in Oliver’s words, Make Donald Drumpf Again. “When he’s sworn in as president on January 20th 2017, on that day, his opinions are going to matter,” Oliver says. “And you will remember that date, because it’s the one that time travelers from the future will come back to to try and stop the whole thing from happening.”
