Today in trivia: Turns out “Yonkers’s” origins are rooted in comedy. As part of an interview snippet published to promote Golf Radio, Tyler told Vince Staples he made the song’s beat in eight minutes so he and his friends could send up the style of Yonkers-born Jadakiss and other New York rappers for fun.
